application kickoff conversation request process.
If you are here, you must be interested in sharing an idea that you have for collaboration with UWMV. We are eager to hear what your bold goal is!
We are going to gather a little contact information and ask that you briefly describe the concept you want to discuss at our meeting. After that, you will be presented with some dates and times that we have blocked open to have these conversations.
We are uncertain of the demand there will be to schedule these conversations, so if you do not see a time available, do not be discouraged, e-mail betty-joanb@unitedwaymv.org and we will reach back out to you to get something scheduled.
A few housekeeping guidelines:
- UWMV will not entertain applications from the following:
Individuals or for-profit organizations, firms or companies
Disease-specific charities
Endowments
Debt reduction
Clinical or academic research
Student projects
Athletic recreational clubs or alumni activities
Replacement of lost government funds or supplementation of private/public insurance
Religious congregations
Fraternal, political or civic groups
Capital projects
Please know that we do not respond to requests for annual support, events, or other general solicitations.
2.Supported projects will create positive outcomes in one of the following: Health, Financial Stability, or Education.
3.As much as we would like the warm fuzziness of in-person meetings, to maximize access all meetings will be via Zoom. All meetings will also be recorded. Recorded meetings will be shared with the Community Impact and Strategic Investment Volunteers at United Way.
